Creative Hub

Taking into account the high relevance for the development of the culture and creative economy in Ukraine K.Fund is set to launch the project “Creative and culture space. Incubation and acceleration of culture and creative economy drivers”.

Development of creative industries is one the European Union’s priorities for 2018-2020. This is confirmed by adopting a “Creative Europe” program focused on support of the transnational exchange of the best cultural and creative practices and expertise, new approaches to business models and management in these fields.

The project sets out establishing of a creative hub (an accelerator, an incubator and a creative space) located in Kyiv at the UNIT.City. The hub will provide for the development of different areas of creative industry and design: 3D, motion picture, sound, fashion, architecture, photo, industrial arts, painting, urban design, object and industrial design.

Planned project stages:

• Stage I (2018-2019)
  Preparation of the location; implementation of the “European-Ukrainian design twinning”, including the establishment of a “School of design” and organizing cultural events

• Stage II (2019-2020)
  Implementation of Incubation and acceleration programs for the first 30 companies

• Stage III (2020)
  Promotion of the best practices and achievements; conducting creative industry conferences; sharing experience
